Every model needs a first class portfolio that is built around their needs and the modelling areas they are focusing on.

 

At M V Photo-Graphix the first thing we do is talk to you, establish what you want, and help and advise you on your portfolio choices and layouts, that’s before we even pick up a camera.

 

It’s easy to think that the big names will produce the best result, but do you really want to be a number on their balance sheet? Or do you want the personal approach that ensures your portfolio reflects you, and not someone else’s corporate identity.

 

If it’s fashion, glamour, alternative, or promotions etc. We will ensure that your portfolio reflects the sector you want to be in.

 

If you have an existing portfolio we offer a free review service and advice on bringing your portfolio up to date with the latest styles. This is particularly important if you are moving in to a different area of work, or if your portfolio hasn’t been updated recently.

Introduction to modelling

We recently had an “introduction to modelling day” hosted by our friends at Blue Carrot Studio’s in Nottingham.

 

Everyone who attended the event had a tour of the studio, and was later  sent a set of sample shots from their shoot. A professional model was on hand to offer help and advice, and information was given on personal safety, working with studio’s, photographers, and other models.

 

Everyone also had a set of sample shots taken, that were later provided to them on disk free of charge.
